Clinical approach

As a culturally competent therapist, my approach is characterized by warmth, authenticity, and empathy. I draw heavily from attachment theory and family systems theory to inform my practice, integrating evidence-based psychotherapy methods and psychoeducation into sessions. With trainings in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gottman Method Couple Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Additionally, I offer Brainspotting, a technique designed to process traumatic memories and alleviate symptoms of emotional distress, further enhancing the therapeutic journey.
